The Agency should, based also on information provided by Member States, provide adequate information covering all aspects relevant to European integrated border management, especially border control, return, irregular secondary movements of third-country nationals within the Union, prevention of cross-border crime including facilitation of unauthorised border crossings, trafficking in human beings, terrorism and threats of a hybrid nature, as well as the situation in neighbouring third countries, so as to allow for appropriate measures to be taken or to tackle identified threats and risks with a view to improving the integrated management of the external borders.

This information shall be available in all the official languages of the Union and in the language(s) of the country or countries bordering the Member State concerned and shall indicate that the third-country national may request the name or service identification number of the border guards carrying out the thorough second line check, the name of the border crossing point and the date on which the border was crossed.

Under Phase II of the Entry/Exit Initiative, on 30 June 2013, the Canada Border Services Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security began exchanging entry data collected on third-country nationals (those who are neither citizens of Canada nor of the U.S.), permanent residents of Canada who are not U.S. citizens, and lawful permanent residents of the U.S. who are not Canadian citizens at all automated land ports of entry along the common border, including all major land border crossings (Canada Border Services Agency, “Canada set to launch Phase II of Entry/Exit Initiative,” News release, 28 June 2013).

I'm correct in assuming, for example, that in Saskatchewan, where the land is typically quite flat, if one had an all-terrain vehicle, one would have very little trouble crossing the border cross-country.
