− (DE) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, first may I thank the shadow rapporteurs, especially Mr Sánchez Presedo on behalf of the socialists and Mrs Bowles on behalf of the liberals, who worked very successfully with me on the compromise text being tabled today as a report on the Commission’s White Paper.
− (DE) Monsieur le Président, Mesdames et Messieurs, puis-je tout d’abord remercier les rapporteurs fictifs, en particulier M. Sánchez Presedo, au nom des socialistes, et MmeBowles, au nom des libéraux, qui ont réalisé avec moi un travail fructueux sur le texte de compromis présenté aujourd’hui en tant que rapport sur le livre blanc de la Commission.
