program to provide individuals and families across Canada with protection against catastrophic drug costs; support a recommendation by the federal task force on disability issues to introduce a new refundable disability expense tax credit to replace the disability tax credit and the medical expenses tax credit, and to increase the tax rate used to calculate the credit from 17% to 29% for low-income beneficiaries; make changes to the definition of “disability” and administration of the CPP disability benefits that wil
