I hope so because, in championing Europe in terms of its environment, we are also providing for the health and well-being of future generations. I am sure, moreover, that, as I have emphasised, Europe has everything to gain by committing itself wholeheartedly, as Europe, to this fight to preserve the natural world and biodiversity.
C’est ce que j’espère, parce qu’en défendant l’Europe de l’environnement, nous nous préoccupons aussi du bien-être et de la santé des générations futures et je suis sûre que l’Europe a tout à gagner, comme je le soulignais, à s’investir en tant que telle dans ce combat pour préserver la nature et la biodiversité.
