Bearing in mind that the EU has taken on the support of the countries in the Eastern Partnership and that the new government in the Republic of Moldova has shown a clear receptiveness towards the European Union, I believe that providing macro-financial assistance to the Republic of Moldova in the form of a grant worth up to EUR 90 million is an initiative which is more than necessary.
Compte tenu du fait que l’UE a accepté de soutenir les pays du partenariat oriental et que le nouveau gouvernement de la République de Moldavie a fait preuve d’une réceptivité évidente envers l’Union européenne, je pense qu’il est plus que nécessaire de fournir une assistance macrofinancière à la République de Moldavie sous la forme d’un prêt pouvant aller jusqu’à 90 millions d’euros.
