Pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1980/2000, a timely review has been carried out of the ecological criteria, as well as of the related assessment and verification requirements established by Commission Decision 2001/405/EC of 4 May 2001 establishing ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label for tissue paper products (2).
Conformément au règlement (CE) no 1980/2000, il a été procédé en temps utile au réexamen des critères écologiques et des exigences d’évaluation et de vérification s’y rapportant, établis par la décision 2001/405/CE de la Commission du 4 mai 2001 établissant des critères écologiques pour l’attribution du label écologique communautaire au papier hygiénique, au papier de cuisine et autres produits en papier absorbant à usage domestique (2).

Since the review obligation pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1980/2000 concerns only the ecological criteria and assessment and verification requirements, it is appropriate that Decisions 2001/405/EC, 2002/255/EC, 2002/371/EC, 2004/669/EC, 2003/31/EC and 2000/45/EC remain in effect.
Étant donné que l'obligation de réexamen, conformément au règlement (CE) no 1980/2000, concerne uniquement les critères écologiques et les exigences d'évaluation et de vérification s'y rapportant, il convient que les décisions 2001/405/CE, 2002/255/CE, 2002/371/CE, 2004/669/CE, 2003/31/CE et 2000/45/CE demeurent en vigueur.
