– (ES) In view of the fact that some of the expressions included in paragraph 34, introduced by the opinion of the Committee on Development, are so ambiguous that they could be interpreted as being somewhat complacent regarding something as repulsive as abortion, the Spanish delegation of the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) has asked the group for a separate vote on that paragraph, in order to make it crystal clear that it is opposed to any initiative aimed at infringing the inalienable rights of the most vulnerable.
– (ES) Au vu de l'ambigüité de certaines expressions du paragraphe 34, introduit sur la base de l'avis de la commission du développement, qui pourraient être interprétées comme un signe de complaisance à l'égard d'un acte aussi répugnant que l'avortement, la délégation espagnole du groupe du Parti Populaire Européen (Démocrates-Chrétiens) a demandé au groupe un vote séparé sur ce paragraphe, afin de faire clairement savoir qu'elle est opposée à toute initiative visant à enfreindre les droits inaliénables des plus vulnérables.
