I am wary and reluctant because, if the question is put and the amendment is negatived, then I do not think the government will repeat the offer contained in this amendment so that the issue can be looked at by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade, whose agenda is already pretty full.
Alors, je crains et j'hésite, parce que si on met la question aux voix et que l'amendement est rejeté, à ce moment-là, je ne crois pas que le gouvernement s'engagera à répéter la même offre qui est contenue dans cet amendement pour que cette substance se retrouve devant le Comité permanent des affaires étrangères et du commerce international, qui a déjà quand même beaucoup de travail à faire.
