It is with much pride that I pay tribute today to Daniel Richer dit Laflèche, a resident of Aylmer, who won the title of best town crier in the world, thus becoming the first francophone to achieve this prestigious international distinction.
C'est avec beaucoup de fierté que je veux souligner aujourd'hui le titre de meilleur crieur public au monde, remporté par M. Daniel Richer dit Laflèche, un résident d'Aylmer. Il devient ainsi le premier francophone à remporter ce prestigieux prix international.
