33. Invites the Commission to explore the possibility of providing financial support for ECIs from existing EU budgets via European programmes such as ‘Europe for Citizens’ and ‘Rights, Equality and Citizenship’, including the possibility of financing promotional radio and television programmes, bearing in mind that equality between citizens must be guaranteed, that there is a real need for financial support for the organisation of ECIs and that numerous amendments to the EU budget have been submitted to this end;
33. invite la Commission à envisager la possibilité de soutenir financièrement les ICE à l'aide des budgets existants de l'Union, par l'intermédiaire de programmes européens tels que "L'Europe pour les citoyens" et "Droits, égalité et citoyenneté", en envisageant la possibilité de financer des programmes d'information destinés à la radio et à la télévision et en gardant à l'esprit que l'égalité entre les citoyens doit être garantie, que l'organisation d'ICE requiert véritablement un soutien financier et que de nombreux amendements au budget de l'Union ont été déposés à cette fin;
