Speaking after the adoption of two EESC major Opinions on Better Legislation and Implementation of Legislation the respective Rapporteurs Mr Daniel Retureau (Group II, Employees, France) and Mr Joost Van Iersel (Group I, Employers, Netherlands) said that the EESC had agreed on the need to simplify and improve the EU regulatory environment as the European Commission and the current UK Presidency of the EU are proposing.
S'exprimant après l'adoption de deux avis majeurs du CESE sur les thèmes "Mieux légiférer" et "Améliorer l'application de la législation communautaire", MM. Daniel Retureau (groupe II, salariés, France) et Joost van Iersel (groupe I, employeurs, Pays-Bas), leurs rapporteurs respectifs, ont indiqué que le CESE convenait de la nécessité de simplifier et d'améliorer le cadre réglementaire de l'Union européenne, comme le proposent la Commission européenne et l'actuelle présidence britannique de l'UE.
