48. invite les États membres à adopter un cadre législatif national permettant de traiter toutes les formes de discrimination et à garantir la mise en application effective du cadre juridique de l'Union, y compris en lançant des procédures d'infraction; regrette le blocage, au sein du Conseil, des négociations sur la proposition de directive relative à la mise en œuvre du principe de l'égalité de traitement entre les personnes sans distinction de religion ou de conviction, de handicap, d'âge ou d'orientation sexuelle, et réitère une nouvelle fois son appel au Conseil pour qu'il adopte cette proposition; se félicite de la position de la présidence lituanienne d'appuyer cette proposition et invite les autres États membres à suivre cet exemple; salue à cet égard l'avis n° 1/2013 de la FRA sur la situation de l'égalité dans l'Union européenne dix ans après la mise en œuvre initiale des directives en la matière; estime qu'il convient également de lutter contre les discriminations fondées sur des motifs linguistiques;

I also welcome today’s repeated appeal by Commissioner Frattini to those countries of the European Union that have not yet opened up their labour markets to their fellow citizens from the new Member States to do so as soon as possible.
