Au-delà du doute ou de l’angoisse existentielle qui caractérisent la façon dont le citoyen ordinaire perçoit globalement la plupart des élites et des institutions à l’ère de la mondialisation, l’Union européenne se heurte depuis peu à une difficulté bien spécifique: face à la montée de l’euroscepticisme, voire de l’europhobie, certaines forces politiques majeures ont préféré absorber des arguments populistes plutôt que de les contrer.
