The expression ‘investment company with fixed capital’, within the meaning of this paragraph, means only those companies:

8. Member States may permit or require that interest on capital borrowed to finance the production of fixed or current assets be included within production costs, to the extent that it relates to the period of production.

If the own-account construction of a structure is not yet completed within a single accounting period, the value of the output and the corresponding gross fixed capital formation should be estimated by applying the fraction of the total costs of production incurred during the relevant period to the estimated current basic price.
