6. Supports multilateral action by the EU and US, together with the social partners, to promote internationally recognised core labour standards such as freedom of association, right to collective bargaining, non-discrimination, abolition of forced labour and abolition of child labour, and to reach agreement on an ILO declaration and follow-up mechanism, thus creating an environment which fosters the development of free international trade on the basis of conditions that are universally acceptable in both legal and political terms.
6. soutient les actions multilatérales menées par l'UE et les États-Unis, conjointement avec les partenaires sociaux, en vue de promouvoir des normes fondamentales du travail reconnues internationalement telles que la liberté d'association, le droit aux négociations collectives, la nondiscrimination, l'abolition du travail forcé et l'abolition du travail des enfants, de parvenir à un accord sur une déclaration de l'OIT et sur un mécanisme de suivi et de créer ainsi les conditions de l'apparition d'un commerce international opérant en toute liberté, sur la base de modalités juridiques et politiques, acceptables par tous.
