The Commission has adopted a communication to the Council in which it proposes closer relations between the Community and Yugoslavia in three areas: - renewal and improvement of the financial protocol with a considerable increase in resources; - eligibility of Yugoslavia in operations by the G24 group (subject to the political and economic conditions laid down by the Dublin Council on 20 January); - the conversion of the cooperation agreement into an association agreement in accordance with the policy expressed by the special European Council meeting in Dublin.
La Commission vient d'adopter une communication au Conseil par laquelle elle propose d'approfondir les relations de la Communauté avec la Yougoslavie sur trois axes : - un renouvellement et une amélioration du Protocole financier, avec une augmentation notable des ressources; - l'éligibilité de la Yougoslavie aux actions du Groupe des 24 (avec la conditionnalité politique et économique définie par le Conseil de Dublin du 20 janvier 1990); - la transformation de l'Accord de Coopération en Accord d'Association,en conformité avec la politique exprimée par le Conseil européen spécial de Dublin.
