If somebody's asking for $700 million from the government, from the taxpayers of the country, but they don't want that entity to have any power to scrutinize or examine their books or what they do with that money, I would suggest maybe everybody should stand back and decide whether they should be receiving that gift or contribution, or whatever you want to call it, if they can't live with those conditions.
Si quelqu'un demande 700 millions de dollars au gouvernement, aux contribuables canadiens, mais qu'on ne veut pas que le gouvernement ait le pouvoir d'examiner ses livres ou ce qu'il fait avec cet argent, je dirais que nous devrions peut-être prendre un peu de recul et décider s'il devrait recevoir ce cadeau ou cette contribution, peu importe comment on veut l'appeler, s'il ne peut pas accepter ces conditions.
