(2) If on ex parte application a justice is satisfied by information on oath that there are reasonable grounds to believe that an offence under this Act has been committed by an owner of any ship, aircraft, platform or other structure, the justice may issue a warrant authorizing an enforcement officer, or authorizing any other person named in the warrant, to seize the ship, aircraft, platform or structure anywhere in Canada and, in the case of a ship, platform or structure, within Canadian waters.
(2) S’il est convaincu, sur la foi d’une dénonciation faite sous serment, qu’il y a des motifs raisonnables de croire à la perpétration d’une infraction à la présente loi par le propriétaire d’un navire, d’un aéronef, d’une plate-forme ou d’un autre ouvrage, le juge de paix peut, sur demande ex parte, signer un mandat autorisant l’agent de l’autorité ou toute autre personne qui y est nommée à saisir le navire, l’aéronef, la plate-forme ou l’autre ouvrage en tout lieu au Canada et, s’il s’agit d’un navire, d’une plate-forme ou autre ouvrage, dans les eaux canadiennes.
