A third and final rubric was to “Establish a sustainable agricultural sector for future generations”, including by providing greater skill training, mentorship programs and other incentives to encourage young farmers to take up farming and to support current farmers; and facilitating the availability of arable land for people committed to farming; and finally, enacting a heritage breed act to preserve our heritage seeds and breeds as well as our biodiversity.
La troisième et dernière rubrique s'intitule « Établir un secteur de l'agriculture durable pour les générations futures ». On atteindrait cet objectif notamment en offrant plus de programmes de formation et de mentorat, ainsi que d'autres incitatifs, afin d'encourager les jeunes à se lancer dans l'agriculture et à soutenir les producteurs actuels; en améliorant la disponibilité des terres arables pour les personnes qui sont engagées dans l'agriculture; et, enfin, en adoptant une loi sur la race patrimoniale afin de préserver nos semences et nos races patrimoniales, ainsi que notre biodiversité.
