– (DE) Madam President-in-Office of the Council, Finland is providing the Kosovo negotiations with a highly-qualified mediator in the person of ex-President Ahtisaari, and that gives us cause for confidence, even though there are major problems ahead, and there can, in the long run, be only one solution, namely independence: of that I am convinced.
- (DE) Madame la Présidente en exercice du Conseil, la Finlande offre aux négociations sur le Kosovo un médiateur hautement qualifié en la personne de l’ex-président Ahtisaari, et cela nous inspire confiance même si de sérieux problèmes se profilent à l’horizon et s’il ne peut y avoir à long terme qu’une seule solution, à savoir l’indépendance.
