Mr. Crowchild: I know when I was a young man and played hockey, what presented itself day in and day out as a player was what you needed to do, how you dotted your i's and crossed your t's with regard to meeting certain criteria, and what it took for you to be at the same level as someone with a different skin colour than yours.
M. Crowchild: Je sais que lorsque j'étais jeune et que je jouais au hockey, ce dont on se rendait compte comme joueur, c'était ce qu'il nous fallait faire, comment il fallait agir pour respecter certains critères, et ce qu'il nous fallait pour être au même niveau que quelqu'un qui avait une couleur de peau différente de la nôtre.
