I believe that the honourable Members are well informed about what has happened in Iran since 3 January of this year, just a little while ago, and in particular about what has happened since the 13th, when, in Berlin, the European Union took the decision to call for an extraordinary meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency and subsequently to call upon the Board of Governors to pass the dossier on Iran to the United Nations Security Council.
Je pense que les députés sont bien au courant de ce qui s’est produit en Iran depuis le 3 janvier de cette année, il y a quelques jours, et en particulier de ce qui s’est produit depuis le 13, jour où l’Union européenne a décidé, à Berlin, de convoquer une réunion extraordinaire du Conseil des gouverneurs de l’Agence internationale de l’énergie atomique et, par la suite, de demander à ce Conseil de transmettre le dossier sur l’Iran au Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies.

(FR)The Commission would remind the honourable Member that, under the Convention defining the Statute of the European Schools, the responsibility of these schools is guaranteed by the board of Governors, the intergovernmental body made up of representatives of each of the Member States on which the Commission only has one vote out of 29, despite its significant financial contribution (around 60% of the European Schools’ budget).
