The International Labour Organization, its property and its assets, wherever located and by whomever held, shall enjoy the same immunity from suit and every form of judicial process as is enjoyed by foreign governments except that the International Labour Organization may expressly waive its immunity for the purpose of any proceedings or by the terms of any contract, but no waiver of immunity shall extend to any measure of execution.

When the functions of a person enjoying privileges and immunities have come to an end, such privileges and immunities shall normally cease at the moment when he leaves the country, or on expiry of a reasonable period in which to do so, but shall subsist until that time, even in case of armed conflict.

Decides to waive the immunity of Marios Matsakis subject to the condition that the waiver of immunity shall apply solely to the prosecution proceedings and that, until such time as final judgment is given, Mr Matsakis must be immune from any form of detention or remand or any other measure which prevents him from performing the duties attaching to his mandate as a Member of the European Parliament;
