‘customs office of entry into the Community’ is the customs office where waste brought into the customs territory of the Community shall be conveyed to in accordance with Article 38(1) of Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92.

(5) Action by the customs authorities should involve, for the period necessary to determine whether suspect goods are indeed counterfeit goods, pirated goods or goods infringing certain intellectual property rights, suspending release for free circulation, export and re-export or, in the case of goods placed under a suspensive procedure, placed in a free zone or a free warehouse, in the process of being re-exported with notification, introduced into the customs territory or leaving that territory, detaining those goods.

Where the information sheet is duly drawn up by the competent EFTA customs office for a product as referred to in the first subparagraph being brought back into the customs territory of the Community, that document shall be regarded as equivalent to the accompanying document for transport as far as the customs office either of destination in the Community or of release for home use, provided that the document contains, in the box "Description of goods", the information specified in the first subparagraph.
