With these great investments, our government is further strengthening our ability to combat child sexual exploitation over the Internet through the work of the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre, which works to reduce the vulnerability of children to Internet-facilitated sexual exploitation by identifying victimized children, by investigating and assisting with the prosecution of sexual offenders, and by strengthening the capacity of municipal, territorial, provincial, federal and international police agencies.
Grâce à ces investissements importants, notre gouvernement renforce notre capacité de combattre l’exploitation sexuelle des enfants sur Internet grâce au travail du Centre national de coordination contre l’exploitation des enfants, qui cherche à réduire la vulnérabilité des enfants face à l’exploitation sexuelle facilitée par Internet en identifiant les enfants qui en sont victimes, en enquêtant et en aidant à poursuivre les délinquants sexuels, ainsi qu’en renforçant la capacité des forces policières municipales, territoriales, provinciales, fédérales et internationales.
