L. whereas on 11 August 2014 Iraq’s Shia Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Haidar al-Abadi, was asked to form a new government to include leaders from all religious, ethnic and political factions; whereas the move was initially rejected by Nouri Maliki, but finally he agreed to step down; whereas Iraqi Sunni tribal sheikhs and clerics offered Abadi conditional support;
L. considérant que, le 11 août 2014, le vice-président chiite du parlement iraquien, Haïder al-Abadi, a été chargé de former un nouveau gouvernement incluant les dirigeants de toutes les factions religieuses, ethniques et politiques; que cette démarche avait été initialement rejetée par Nouri Al-Maliki, qui a fini par démissionner; que les chefs tribaux et religieux sunnites d'Iraq ont accordé à Abadi un soutien conditionnel;
