In the amendments tabled by Mr Rocard himself, there are a few corrections that I fully support, even though I believe that we cannot talk about reforms in the Arab world without taking into consideration the tragedies caused not by European policies but, for example, by the war in Iraq and by the absence of a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Rocard lui-même, je soutiens totalement quelques corrections, même si je pense qu’on ne peut pas parler de réformes dans le monde arabe sans tenir compte des tragédies causées non par les politiques européennes mais, par exemple, par la guerre en Irak et par l’absence de solution au conflit israélo-palestinien.
