Deplores the fact that the deadline for the payment of cash contributions to the Joint Undertaking from its members was not respected; notes that at the end of August 2011, there remained 17 outstanding recovery orders, totalling EUR 3 700 000 and that one member had paid no annual contribution at all by the end of 2011; notes the Joint Undertaking's reply that the late contribution still pending at year end was cashed in February 2012; urges the Joint Undertaking to nevertheless ensure the respect of contractual deadlines for the payment of cash contributions by its members that represent 10 % of their global contributions to the project;

To improve the coordination among international environmental agreements, we urge the UN to undertake concrete measures such as information sharing among secretariats of related agreements, enhancing scientific linkages among their areas of competence, the joint training of specialists, and the harmonization of venues and dates for conferences of the parties to these agreements.
Afin d'améliorer la coordination des accords internationaux sur l'environnement, nous invitons les Nations unies à prendre des mesures concrètes permettant, par exemple, le partage d'informations entre secrétariats d'accords connexes, le renforcement des liens scientifiques entre leurs domaines de compétence, la formation commune de spécialistes et l'harmonisation des lieux et dates des conférences des parties à ces accords.
