(8) Despite subsections (1) to (7), if a person has served a notice of objection under section 81.15 or has appealed to the Tribunal or the Federal Court under this Part, otherwise than under section 81.33, in respect of an assessment and agrees in writing with the Minister to delay proceedings on the objection or appeal until a decision or judgment is rendered in another action before the Tribunal, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal or the Supreme Court of Canada in which the issue is the same or substantially the same as that raised in the objection or appeal of that person, the Minister may take any of the actions described in paragraphs (4)(a) to (c) for the purpose of collecting any sum for which that person has been assessed, determined in a manner consistent with the decision or judgment of the Tribunal or Court in the other action, at any time after the Minister notifies the person in writing that the decision or judgment has been rendered.

(4) In any proceedings in Canada to recognize or enforce a judgment given by a foreign tribunal in proceedings instituted under an antitrust law, or a foreign trade law or a provision of a foreign trade law set out in the schedule, or to enforce a concurrent or subsequent judgment for contribution or indemnity related to that judgment, no inference shall be drawn from the fact that the Attorney General of Canada has not made an order under subsection (1) or (1.1) in respect of the judgment.

(11) Where earnings are paid or payable in respect of an employment pursuant to a labour arbitration award or the judgment of a tribunal, or as a settlement of an issue that might otherwise have been determined by a labour arbitration award or the judgment of a tribunal, and the earnings are awarded in respect of specific weeks as a result of a finding or admission that disciplinary action was warranted, the earnings shall be allocated to a number of consecutive weeks, beginning with the first week in respect of which the earnings are awarded, in such a manner that the total earnings of the claimant from that employment are, in each week except the last week, equal to the claimant's normal weekly earnings from that employment.
(11) Lorsqu’une rémunération est payée ou payable à l’égard d’un emploi en exécution d’une sentence arbitrale ou d’une ordonnance du tribunal, ou par suite du règlement d’un différend qui aurait pu être tranché par une sentence arbitrale ou une ordonnance du tribunal, et que cette rémunération est attribuée à l’égard de semaines précises à la suite de constatations ou d’aveux qui permettent de conclure à la nécessité de mesures disciplinaires, elle est répartie sur un nombre de semaines consécutives commençant par la première semaine à laquelle la rémunération est ainsi attribuée, de sorte que la rémunération totale tirée par le prestataire de cet emploi dans chaque semaine, sauf la dernière, soit égale à sa rémunération hebdomadaire normale provenant de cet emploi.

(19) Where the Tribunal finds that the implementation by person or company in Canada of a judgment, decree, order or other process issued by a court or other body in a foreign country, and the implementation would (i) adversely affect competition in Canada, (ii) adversely affect the efficiency of trade or industry in Canada without bringing about or increasing in Canada competition that would restore or improve that efficiency, (iii) adversely affect the foreign trade of Canada without compensating advantages, or (iv) otherwise restrain or injure trade or commerce in Canada without compensating advantages, the Tribunal may direct that no measures be taken in Canada to implement the judgment, decree, order or process, or that the measures be taken only in such manner as the Tribunal prescribes.
(19) Lorsque le Tribunal conclut que l’exécution par une personne ou une entreprise du Canada d’un jugement, un décret, une ordonnance, une autre décision ou un autre bref d’un tribunal ou d’un autre organisme d’un pays étranger i) nuirait à la concurrence au Canada, ii) nuirait à l’efficience du commerce ou de l’industrie au Canada sans engendrer ou accroître au Canada une concurrence qui rétablirait ou améliorerait cette efficience, iii) nuirait au commerce extérieur du Canada sans apporter d’avantages en compensation, iv) ferait autrement obstacle ou tort au commerce au Canada sans apporter d’avantages en compensation, le Tribunal peut rendre une ordonnance interdisant de prendre au Canada des mesures d’exécution du jugement, du décret, de l’ordonnance de l’autre décision ou de l’autre bref ou de prendre des mesures selon ce que le Tribunal prescrit.

The Protocol offers to Member States a choice of two alternatives when making a declaration as described above : they may specify that either a) any court or tribunal of that State against whose decisions there is no judicial remedy under national law may request the Court of Justice of the European Communities to give a preliminary ruling on a question raised in a case pending before it and concerning the interpretation of the Europol Convention if that court or tribunal considers that a decision on the question is necessary to enable it to give judgment, or b) any court or tribunal of that State may request the Court of Justice of the European Communities to give a preliminary ruling on a question raised in a case pending before it and concerning the interpretation of the Europol Convention if that court or tribunal considers that a decision on the question is necessary to enable it to give judgment.
