It is hard to understand why the Liberals jumped ship and say—as an hon. member did this morning—that there is less violence and fewer murders now in Colombia when our colleague tells us that 48 trade unionists were killed in 2008, which is not so long ago.
D'ailleurs, on comprend mal pourquoi les libéraux ont changé de camp et pourquoi ils disent — comme un député le disait ce matin — qu'il y a maintenant moins de violence et moins de meurtres en Colombie, alors que notre collègue nous dit qu'en 2008, ce qui est tout de même récent, 48 syndicalistes ont été tués.
