I understand your position, what you took before, because there was some concern in the Department of Foreign Affairs particularly, not so much in Defence but in Foreign Affairs, that while the Americans were saying that they were not going to ask us for any cost contributions to this, that there was an expression — at least from the department there was a feeling that once you got inside the tent sooner or later somebody would pass you the bill.
