The six-month suspended sentence passed on the Tunisian lawyer Mrs Radhia Nasraoui, the arrest of Mr Abderraouf Chammari, brother of the opposition leader Mr Khémais Chammari, and the arrests of Mr Khémais Ksila and numerous political and human rights activists, are clear evidence that the political situation in Tunisia is not only not improving (as might have been hoped given the economic situation), but is continuing to deteriorate.

Khémais Chammari, les détentions de nombreux militants politiques et des droits de l'Homme, à commencer par M. Khémais Ksila, la situation politique en Tunisie non seulement ne s'améliore pas, contrairement à ce que la situation économique pourrait laisser escompter, mais continue au contraire à se dégrader.
