AIR TRANSPORT ACCESS TO THE GROUNDHANDLING MARKET AT COMMUNITY AIRPORTS The Council held an initial discussion on the proposal for a Directive on access to the groundhandling market at Community airports, on the conclusion of which: - it stressed the importance of this proposal, which aimed at the liberalization of the groundhandling market, to the competitiveness of European carriers; - it invited the Permanent Representatives Committee to report back to it with a view to the adoption of a common position at a forthcoming meeting.
TRANSPORTS AERIENS ACCES AU MARCHE DE L'ASSISTANCE EN ESCALE DANS LES AEROPORTS DE LA COMMUNAUTE Le Conseil a tenu un premier débat sur la proposition de directive relative à l'accès au marché de l'assistance en escale dans les aéroports de la Communauté, au terme duquel: - il a souligné l'importance de cette proposition, qui vise à la libéralisation du marché de l'assistance à l'escale, pour la compétitivité des transporteurs européens; - il a invité le Comité des Représentants permanents à lui faire rapport en vue de l'adoption d'une position commune lors d'une prochaine session.
