The bishop of Nova Scotia of course cited many biblical texts and then said that if a man was allowed to marry his deceased wife's sister, that would lead to polygamy because he would want to marry all of her sisters eventually (1540) We heard this in 1882 and 200 years later they are still making the same arguments and we are listening to the same thing.
