Bringing together the current MEDIA, Culture and MEDIA Mundus programmes for the cultural and creative sectors within a single comprehensive programme (the "Programme") would more effectively support SMEs and micro, small and medium-sized organisations in their efforts to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the digital shift and globalisation and would help them to address issues currently leading to market fragmentation.
