Part of our mandate is to promote the interests and rights of mental health survivors/consumers; we use that term and I know that the committee is familiar with it. Part of our mandate is to promote alternative approaches to dealing with mental health crises — alternative therapies, alternatives from the mainstream, which is probably good for Canadian society as a whole, but I will not go into that.
