Definition: This block contains a wide variety of disorders that differ in severity and clinical form but that are all attributable to the use of one or more psychoactive substances, which may or may not have been medically prescribed. The third character of the code identifies the substance involved, and the fourth character specifies the clinical state. The codes should be used, as required, for each substance specified, but it should be noted that not all fourth character codes are applicable to all substances. Identification of the psychoactive substance should be based on as many sources of information as possible. The disorders in this section can thus be regarded as maladaptive responses to severe or continued stress, in that they interfere with successful coping mechanisms and therefore lead to problems of social functioning.

(Return tabled) Question No. 152 Ms. Kirsty Duncan: With respect to the development of unconventional gas resources, including shale, tight and coal bed methane, and its possible impacts on the environment: (a) what, if any, research has the government undertaken regarding the development of unconventional gas resources, (i) what was the scope of this research in the areas of, but not limited to, air quality, aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem impacts, economic impacts, occupational risks, public safety concerns, and seismic risks, (ii) what, if any, resources did the government provide for this research, (iii) what, if any, process was established to ensure the independence of the researchers, their research, and their findings, (iv) what, if any, case studies were considered as a part of this research, (v) what, if any, scenarios regarding the development of unconventional gas resources were developed as frameworks for the research, (vi) what economic, environmental and social impacts were identified by this research, (vii) what, if any, priority research areas were identified for further study as a result of this research, (viii) what, if any, departments were involved in this research, (ix) what, if any, action was undertaken to ensure inter-departmental cooperation throughout the research process, (x) what, if any, gaps or weaknesses in the regulatory framework did the research identify; (b) what, if any, research has the government undertaken regarding balancing shale gas' potential contribution to energy security with environmental risks; (c) what are the sources of greenhouse gas emissions associated with unconventional gas; (d) has the government developed a process to determine the overall carbon footprint of shale gas throughout the life cycle of natural gas use, if not, why not, and, if so, (i) what federal departments are involved in this process, (ii) how does the government ensure inter-departmental collaboration on this process, (iii) what is the p ...

In all, the Commission received seventeen ex-post evaluation reports for Regulation (EC) No 950/97 (Measures for improving the efficiency of agricultural structures, under Objective 5a), twelve reports for Regulation (EC) No 951/97 (Improving the processing and marketing of agricultural products, under Objective 5a), fifty-two reports for Objective 5b measures, and eighty-two reports for the Leader II Community Initiative. Some reports were still awaited in 2003.
Cette dernière a reçu au total 17 rapports d'évaluation ex post dans le cadre du règlement 950/97 (mesures relevant de l'objectif 5a en vue de l'amélioration de l'efficacité des structures de l'agriculture), 12 rapports dans le cadre du règlement 951/97 (mesures relevant de l'objectif 5a en vue de l'amélioration des conditions de transformation et de commercialisation des produits agricoles), 52 rapports concernant les mesures relevant de l'objectif 5b et 82 rapports relatifs à l'initiative communautaire Leader II. Quelques rapports étaient encore attendus en 2003.

Given the very large number of cases of fraud and irregularities reported ("fraud reports" and "mutual assistance reports"), the Commission had established two procedures for processing data: the first, Sample A, is a statistical processing of the "fraud reports" and the other, Sample B, a detailed examination of certain particularly difficult cases reported under the system of mutual assistance.
Compte tenu du nombre très élevé des communications des cas de fraudes et irrégularités (ci-après dénommées « fiches fraude » et « fiches Assistance mutuelle »), la Commission avait mis en place deux procédures d'exploitation des données, l'une dénommée Echantillon A, et consistant en une exploitation statistique des « fiches fraude », et l'autre dite Echantillon B et consistant en un examen approfondi de certains dossiers particulièrement difficiles ayant fait l'objet de communications dans le cadre de l'Assistance mutuelle.
