Calls on the Commission to evaluate the possibility of a special expedited dispute settlement on auto-related measures, as introduced in the US-Korea Free Trade Agreement, whereby the complaining party may suspend its tariff concessions on passenger cars and assess duties at the prevailing most-favoured-nation rate, if a panel finds a violation of an auto-related commitment or the nullification/impairment of expected benefits to be an option, which the Commission could likewise consider integrating in the EU's FTAs;

2. If no agreement on compensation is reached within 30 days of the end of the reasonable period of time or of notification of the arbitration panel ruling under Article 11 that the measure taken to comply is inconsistent with the provisions referred to in Article 2, the complaining Party shall be entitled, upon notification to the other Party and to the subcommittee on industry, trade and services, to suspend obligations arising from any provision referred to in Article 2 at a level equivalent to the nullification or impairment caused by the violation.
2. En l’absence d’accord sur la compensation dans les trente jours suivant l’expiration du délai raisonnable ou la notification de la décision du groupe spécial d’arbitrage visée à l’article 11, selon laquelle la mesure adoptée est incompatible avec les dispositions visées à l’article 2, la partie plaignante a le droit, après notification à l’autre partie et au sous-comité «Industrie, commerce et services», de suspendre des obligations au titre de toute disposition visée à l’article 2 à concurrence du niveau de l’annulation ou de la réduction des avantages due à la violation.

3. If the Party complained against considers that the level of suspension is not equivalent to the nullification or impairment caused by the violation, it may request in writing the arbitration panel to rule on the matter.
3. Si la partie mise en cause considère que le niveau de suspension n’est pas équivalent au niveau de l’annulation ou de la réduction des avantages due à la violation, elle peut demander par écrit au groupe spécial d’arbitrage de se prononcer sur la question.
