Last year, we contributed $46.3 million toward the cleanup of Randle Reef in Hamilton Harbour and we launched the Great Lakes nutrient initiative, investing $16 million over four years to address the re-emergence of toxic and nuisance algae caused by excessive phosphorous discharges to Lake Erie.

As an update on that, in October 2012 we announced the Great Lakes nutrient initiative and $16 million was invested to specifically address the toxicity of the algae in the Great Lakes and with an internal focus on Lake Erie.
