The hearing will be chaired by Mr Bryan Cassidy, president of the Observatory, and will allow the Committee to produce an own-initiative opinion on "The Priorities of the Single Market 2005-2010" for which he is also the rapporteur. This opinion will take into account the suggestions and recommendations expressed by the users of a Single Market made up of 25 countries and 465 million citizens.
