Monsieur le Président, je tiens à féliciter le gouvernement, plus précisément Emploi et Développement social Canada, d'avoir remporté hier un autre prestigieux prix Teddy, qui récompense le gaspillage de fonds publics, à l'occasion de la soirée distinguée qu'organise chaque année la Fédération canadienne des contribuables afin de souligner les pires abus en matière de gaspillage gouvernemental.

The issue is to work out how we can achieve our goal, and I think the Commission should not be asking for yet another study, as the Environment Council did yesterday to find out if climate degradation is really so bad that we should be stepping up Europe’s CO2 reduction – even though it is utterly ridiculous to ask for a new study.
Le problème est de savoir comment atteindre notre but, et je crois que la Commission doit non pas demander, comme le Conseil Environnement, une énième étude pour savoir si vraiment la dégradation climatique est telle qu’il convient d’augmenter la réduction de CO2 de l’Union européenne - ce qu’il a fait hier, alors qu’il est complètement aberrant de demander une nouvelle étude.
