(4) Every claim made by a person to property seized under a writ of execution or other process issued out of the Federal Court of Appeal or the Federal Court, or to the proceeds of its sale, shall, unless otherwise provided by the Rules, be heard and disposed of as nearly as may be according to the procedure applicable to like claims to property seized under similar writs or process issued out of the courts of the provinces.

7. The Province shall use its best endeavours to collect the revenue referred to in paragraph four of this agreement in accordance with the mining laws of the Province in the same manner as revenue from minerals and mineral claims situate elsewhere than upon Indian Reserves and the Province shall not be liable to the Dominion for failure to collect the said revenue or any portion of same by reason of the neglect or failure of any officer or servant of the Provincial Government or of the Department of Mines of the Province to carry out his duties in connection with same, and it is further agreed between the parties hereto that the Province shall only be liable to the Dominion for one-half of the revenues collected under paragraph four of this agreement in any one calendar year and not further or otherwise.
7. La province fera tout son possible pour percevoir les revenus mentionnés à la clause quatre de la présente convention conformément aux lois minières de la province et de la même manière que les revenus provenant de minéraux et concessions minières situés ailleurs que sur les réserves indiennes, et la province ne sera pas responsable envers le Dominion en cas de défaut de percevoir la totalité ou toute partie desdits revenus par suite de la négligence ou du défaut d’un fonctionnaire ou serviteur du gouvernement provincial ou du ministère des Mines de la province en ce qui concerne l’exécution de ses fonctions à cet égard.
