Taxpayers must not forget that every time some person or some business somewhere does not pay taxes or avoids paying part of the taxes they would normally have had to pay, had it not been for some outdated tax loophole, which does nothing for society or the economy, but which is there because it has been almost or completely forgotten, or because the Minister of Finance lacked the resolve to do anything about it, it is the average taxpayer who makes up for what the business or rich individual should have paid but did not because of this loophole.
Les contribuables ne doivent pas oublier que chaque fois qu'une personne ou une entreprise quelque part ne paie pas d'impôt ou évite une certaine partie de l'impôt qu'elle aurait normalement dû payer n'eut été d'une échappatoire fiscale qui est désuète, qui ne rapporte rien à la société, ni à l'économie, qui est là parce qu'on l'a oubliée ou presque, ou par un manque de volonté du ministre des Finances, c'est le contribuable moyen qui paie pour compenser ce que l'entreprise ou le riche particulier n'a pas payé à cause de cette échappatoire.
