Hon. David Tkachuk: Honourable senators, I rose yesterday to make a statement about the terrible situation that the world is in; that there are leaders who are tyrants, oppressors and despots, and that sometimes human rights atrocities, while acceptable within a nation's borders, are most certainly beyond the pale when they cross borders and continents, bringing terrorist ways to our soil.
L'honorable David Tkachuk: Honorables sénateurs, hier, j'ai fait une déclaration au sujet de la catastrophe que vit la planète aujourd'hui et des dirigeants qui se comportent en tyrans, en oppresseurs et en despotes, et j'ai ajouté que, parfois, les violations des droits de l'homme, si elles sont acceptables à l'intérieur de certains pays, elles sont certainement absolument inadmissibles lorsqu'elles traversent les frontières et les continents, conduisant les terroristes sur notre sol.
