– Mr President, as a member of the delegation that went to Palestine last week, it became clear to me that there are a number of sensible people who believe that the two-state option is dead in the water, largely because of Israeli actions, not least the proposals to extend the wall even further into and beyond East Jerusalem, thereby dividing the West Bank into the north and the south.
– (EN) Monsieur le Président, en tant que membre de la délégation qui s’est rendue en Palestine la semaine dernière, il est m’est clairement apparu qu’un certain nombre de gens sensés estiment que la solution à deux États est déjà morte, principalement en raison des actions israéliennes, et notamment des propositions visant à prolonger le mur encore plus loin à l’intérieur et au-delà de Jérusalem-Est, divisant ainsi la Cisjordanie entre le Nord et le Sud.
