And just as, in the previous debate, I criticised the fact that the Israeli Prime Minister, Mr Sharon, did not receive the High Representative when he visited the Middle East, I also believe we must ask the next President—in-Office of the Council, the Italian Prime Minister, when he goes to the Middle East, not just to visit Israel, but also the Palestinian Authority.
Et tout comme je critiquais, lors du précédent débat, le fait que le Premier ministre israélien, M. Sharon, n’ait pas reçu le haut-représentant à l’occasion de sa visite au Moyen-Orient, je pense de même que nous devons demander au prochain président en exercice du Conseil, le Premier ministre italien, de ne pas rendre visite uniquement à Israël, mais aussi à l’Autorité palestinienne quand il ira au Moyen-Orient.
