6 (1) Where a contributor described in section 3 has, following the receipt of erroneous advice, made an election pursuant to clause (K) of subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of section 5 of the Act or pursuant to subsection (2a) of section 48 of the Defence Services Pension Act for a period of service described in section 3, that election shall be deemed to have been made by him pursuant to the appropriate statutory provision under which he might have so elected immediately following the receipt of the erroneous advice, and within the time prescribed in that statutory provision or Order in Council for the making of such an election and an appropriate adjustment, by refund or by reduction in the number of instalments, shall be made in respect of the contributions required by reason of his election under the Act.

(5) If in the future it is determined that the actual boundaries of the Natural Gas Pool defined herein as the Clarke Lake Field extend beyond the lands described in Schedule “C”, the agreed percentage set out in subparagraph (4) of paragraph 7 hereof shall be adjusted accordingly between the parties, and, failing agreement, shall be settled by arbitration pursuant to paragraph 12 hereof.

14.1 (1) An authorization issued to a person to present themself in an alternative manner described in paragraph 11(a) or subparagraph 11(d)(i) or (iii) is only valid if, on arrival in Canada, the person does not have any commercial goods in their actual possession or in their baggage.

If, in cases where the provisions of paragraph 2, subparagraph (b), of this article do not apply or may not be invoked, dangerous goods become an actual danger to life or property, they may be unloaded, destroyed or rendered innocuous, as the circumstances may require, without payment of compensation except where there is an obligation to contribute in general average or where the carrier is liable in accordance with the provisions of article 5.
4. (a) Where a resident of Switzerland derives income or owns capital which, in accordance with the provisions of this Convention, may be taxed in Canada, Switzerland shall, subject to the provisions of subparagraphs (b), (c) and (d), exempt such income or capital from tax but may, in calculating tax on the remaining income or capital of that resident, apply the rate of tax which would have been applicable if the exempted income or capital had not been so exempted; provided, however, that such exemption shall apply to gains referred to in paragraph 4 of Article 13 only if actual taxation of such gains in Canada is demonstrated.

2a. For the purposes of points (a) and (b) of paragraph 2 but without prejudice to the second subparagraph of this paragraph, expenditure shall be limited to the following interventions:

In addition, if, at the closure of the programme, the actual amount of Community contribution spent on the operations referred to in points (a) to (f) of Article 16a(1) is lower than the amount referred to in the first subparagraph of paragraph 5a of this Article, the difference shall be reimbursed by the Member State to the general budget of the European Communities up to the amount by which the amount of Community contribution spent on the operations referred to in point (g) of Article 16a(1) has exceeded the allocations available under the fourth subparagraph of paragraph 5a of this Article.
