En revanche, le maintien de 500 emplois industriels directs (sur les 1 029 emplois initiaux) dont les titulaires pourront conserver leur pouvoir d'achat sans recours à de futures aides d'État (les autorités espagnoles ont pris l'engagement formel de n'accorder aucune autre aide à GEA), assurerait du même coup, entre autres, le maintien en activité des fournisseurs de l'entreprise qui eux aussi conserveront leur pouvoir d'achat. Ce facteur doit être dûment pris en compte par la Commission dans l'analyse des conséquences que peut avoir le maintien d'une entreprise comme GEA sur le développement économique de la région de Vigo qui peut, rappelons-le, bénéficier des aides prévues à l'article 92, paragraphe 3, point a), du traité.
