Before delivering a ruling regarding the report stage of Bill C-60, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 21, 2013 and other measures, the Chair would like to thank those hon. members who have raised points of order regarding the process followed during the committee's consideration of the bill at clause-by-clause study and in particular, on the impact this might have on the role of independent members in the selection of motions at report stage.
Avant de rendre sa décision concernant l'étape du rapport du projet de loi C-60, Loi portant exécution de certaines dispositions du budget déposé au Parlement le 21 mars 2013 et mettant en œuvre d'autres mesures, la présidence souhaiterait remercier les honorables députés qui ont soulevé des rappels au Règlement relativement au processus suivi par le comité lors de l’étude article par article du projet de loi et, en particulier, de l’incidence de celui-ci sur le rôle des députés indépendants et la sélection des motions à l’étape du rapport.
