(Le document est déposé) Question n 152 Mme Kirsty Duncan: En ce qui concerne le développement des ressources gazières non classiques, y compris le gaz de schiste, le gaz de formation imperméable et le méthane de houille, et l’impact possible sur l’environnement: a) le cas échéant, quelles recherches le gouvernement a-t-il entreprises au sujet du développement des ressources gazières non classiques, (i) quelle était la portée de ces recherches pour ce qui est, par exemple, de la qualité de l’air, de l’impact sur les écosystèmes aquatiques et terrestres, des impacts économiques, des risques professionnels, de la sécurité publique et des risques séismiques, (ii) le cas échéant, quelles ressources le gouvernement a-t-il prévues pour ces recherches, (iii) le cas échéant, quel processus a été établi pour protéger l’indépendance des chercheurs, de leurs travaux et de leurs conclusions, (iv) le cas échéant, quelles études de cas a-t-on examinées dans le cadre de ces recherches, (v) le cas échéant, quels scénarios a-t-on préparés pour le développement des ressources gazières non classiques comme cadres pour ces recherches, (vi) quels impacts économiques, environnementaux et sociaux ont été identifiés dans ces recherches, (vii) le cas échéant, quels sont les domaines prioritaires de recherche pour une étude plus approfondie à la suite de ces recherches, (viii) le cas échéant, quels ministères ont participé à ces recherches, (ix) le cas échéant, quelle mesure a été entreprise pour garantir une coopération interministérielle tout au long du processus de recherche; (x) le cas échéant, quelles lacunes ou faiblesses du cadre réglementaire les travaux de recherche ont-ils permis d’identifier; b) le cas échéant, quelles recherches le gouvernement a-t-il entreprises pour établir un équilibre entre la contribution possible du gaz de formation imperméable au secteur de l’énergie et les risques pour l’environnement; c) quelles sont les sources d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre ass ...
